Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity | Surprise Announcement

Nintendo being Nintendo just shadow dropped a brand new game in the Zelda universe, “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity”. It is a return to the “Warriors” series, this time a game set 100 years before the events in “Breath of the Wild”.

The video above featured lead Zelda producer, Eiji Aonuma, explaining the lead up to the development of this game, the story and of course a few mentions of “Breath of the Wild 2” development.

I for one can’t think of a better way to learn the story leading up to the events of BOTW than the huge sprawling battles that “Hyrule Warriors” is known for.
