The Sega Game Gear was absolutely awesome when it released in 1990 and brought new life to the huge library of Sega Master System titles. It never quite lived up to the same level of success as The Nintendo Gameboy but its color screen and exclusive hits made it a very compelling alternative and a wonderful way to kill some down time while traveling or waiting around before school.
