Sonic and The Fallen Star is a 2D speed based platformer in the style of the 2D Classic Sonic games, created by StarDrop, and featured as an entry to this years Chao Games Showcase expo!

Got word about a new expo a couple weeks ago and was pretty excited to check out the entries involved, there may be a few entries all together, but I can say they’re definitely worth playing, starting with this one!

This demo contains the iconic duo of Sonic & Tails as playable characters, but also 7 zones to explore. Fresh look of cutscenes, characters, badniks, bosses, artwork, and even special stages all together makes this such an exciting fan game worth checking out.

This might be the longest fan game I’ve ever played, but then again there’s Frenzy Adventure (which I still plan on getting done). I honestly like everything about this fan game, no doubt. The special stages to me felt like something completely unique, and even got instant flashbacks to Quantum Collision & XG special stages, both which were personal favorites.

Couple of things worth noting during the walkthrough; One – there is only 4 special stages available to access, but after that it repeats the 4th special stage, hence why I skipped going in the giant rings in 3 different areas. And two – I think I might’ve encountered a monitor glitch here (59:29) which was pretty funny as it happened.
