Weekend Stream Update – May 26 & 27

This weekend had two separate streams for two different games!  These were originally streamed on my Twitch channel, which can be found HERE.  Please stop by and follow me there for notifications on future streams!

BeeFender for PC

The first game was BeeFender for PC.  BeeFender is an arcade shooter where you play as a bee defending your hive from all manner of craziness.  This includes (but not limited to) other bugs, spiders and bears.  The game features a really unique graphical style (very much retro inspired) and has fun and fast pacing combined with randomized gameplay that makes each time you play a different challenge. It also features many achievements and an online high score chart where you can see how you stack up against the rest of the world.  All this and the game is only .99 cents, so you can’t go wrong here.

Shadowrun for Super Nintendo

The second game I streamed this weekend was Shadowrun for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Shadowrun is an action RPG game based on the pencil and paper RPG of the same name.  It takes place in a cyberpunk inspired setting and has loads of characters, stories and other elements that make it a truly unique role playing experience on the SNES.

In my stream, I made it through the first few sequences and give you a good feel for how the game works.  Unfortunately, I died without saving it – so any continued gameplay would have had to be a fresh start again.  For that reason, I am calling a this a “PREVIEW” of the game and I intend to return to it again in a future stream to play it further.
